The Jimbo Lounge

Liza and I are doing fine, we were discharged home from the hospital last night. However, baby Thea Eileen Thompson (we finally chose a name) is still at the hospital. Since she was born early she’s had a few minor difficulties. She had a little difficulty breathing soon after she was born, but that’s fine now. She’s also had some minor jaundice which is being treated by bili-lights. As far as newborn complications go, it’s not terribly bad, and it’s very easily treatable. But unfortunately for us we haven’t get to bring her home. It’s a little weird being parents at the hospital, then we come home and it’s just us and the cats.

Anyways, we’ll have to see how it goes, but hopefully she’ll be coming home tomorrow!

Oh, also thanks to everyone who’s called, emailed or texted. It’s been crazy these past few days, but we’ll try to get back to everyone.
